Support Small Streamers - Let's meet Jordan K Games!
Jordan is a young guy from Iowa, USA, who loves video games. He plays across all platforms but prefers the pc overall. One particular day he was encouraged to stream what he was playing to complete strangers. At that moment, he discovered Twitch, the most popular streaming site for video gameplay. Intrigued, Jordan loaded up Minecraft and waited. He was amazed at how easy it was to do and really enjoyed meeting new people, just random people popping in to see what he was building in Minecraft. And so a channel was born. 7 years, a new and improved channel later, and Jordan still loves streaming.
He started out his streaming career with Minecraft but soon discovered what it meant to get “burnt out” on one game. Since then, he’s decided to expand his gameplay repertoire and play everything he enjoys and hoped his viewers would too. According to his stats, Jordan’s most played game is Minecraft, followed by Sea of Thieves, an exciting pirate game where you search for treasure while sailing the seas, fighting off other pirate players, ghostships, megalodons, and even the occasional Kraken. However, interestingly enough, they are not his favorite game. That title belongs to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Launched in 2011 by Bethesda, Skyrim has developed a cult following, and because it’s so incredibly loved by millions, it’s been relaunched for every new platform, including Amazon’s Alexa. There’s a main storyline to Skyrim, where you, the player, are the Dragonborn, a prophesied hero to save Tamriel from Alduin, a most fearsome dragon. But the joy of this game is not limited to the main quest. This is probably what has kept the fascination of Skyrim alive for so long because there are NUMEROUS paths your character can take, and each time you play will be completely new. Skyrim is truly a most beautiful game, not only to play, but to watch, and although Jordan doesn’t play it on stream too often, when he does, the Skyrim fans love it!
Jordan loves meeting new people and interacts with everyone who pops in to say hi. He has often said that even though it’s about playing games, the chat and interacting with his viewers is what he enjoys the most. To keep his loyal viewers entertained when he’s not streaming, he’s created a Discord where his community can keep in contact and up to date with whatever is going on. Jordan also has several streamer friends who regularly pop into stream with him to play multi-player games, such as Sea of Thieves, or the latest rage, Fall Guys.
When not streaming, Jordan works part-time as an armed security guard. He often regales his viewers some crazy stories about people he meets on those shifts, sometimes with hilarious results.
Ideally, his dream is to stream on Twitch full time, but it’s proving quite the challenge to get partnered. Jordan is full of fun, puns, dad-jokes, and The Office references, so if you think you’d fit right in, be sure to pop on over to his stream sometime. His links and schedule are as follows:
